Video of Water Music

The amazing water music from the ladies of the village of Lakona Bay, Island of Santa Maria (Gaua) in the Banks Islands, Vanuatu is really best experienced live. They make the music by clapping under water. This is a hugely intensive activity.

Sadly, since we were there, a volcano has destroyed the village and gardens so that the people have had to move
